OhioHealth was the first in central Ohio to use the TomoTherapy® System and Trilogy™ Sterotactic System in the treatment of cancerous brain tumors on our Riverside Methodist Hospital campus.

The TomoTherapy® System technology enables physicians to precisely target brain tumors, while reducing radiation exposure to surrounding normal tissue.

The Trilogy^™ Stereotactic System combines brain tumor imaging and treatment technologies, enabling the physician to deliver the widest range of external beam radiotherapies. External beam radiotherapies include:

• 3-D conformal radiotherapy
• IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy)
• Stereotactic radiosurgery
• Fractionated stereotactic radiation therapy

The continuum of care we offer our patients with brain tumors exists through our partnership with OhioHealth Cancer Services.

Our neurologists and neurosurgeons team with radiation oncologists and medical oncologists to determine the best and most appropriate care for each patient.
