Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiology is an emerging area of high-tech, minimally invasive medicine that uses catheter-based procedures for the diagnosis and/or treatment of a variety of medical conditions. This includes the field of vascular interventional radiology.

Our Innovative Center at Riverside Methodist

OhioHealth's Interventional Radiology Center at Riverside Methodist Hospital is the largest in central Ohio. Our innovative center is designed as a healing environment for patients and their families, offering three private consultation rooms and a dedicated patient family waiting area. The waiting area has an electronic patient tracking board where family members can monitor the progress of loved ones throughout their procedures.

Our diagnostic treatment environment includes the addition of a fourth lab and doubles our nursing beds from six to twelve. We now have more procedure rooms, bi-plane X-ray units and interventional radiologists than any other hospital in the area, which means improved care for our patients.
