Lymphedema Therapy

  • To participate in treatment from a specialized Lymphedema therapist in a program not offered by most major rehabilitation practices
  • To learn proper massage & bandaging techniques to reduce pain and swelling
  • To work through side effects of radiation and get back to a healthy life

We provide specialized therapy treatments and teach techniques to reduce lymphatic fluid accumulation. Common causes of Lymphedema are breast cancer or other forms of cancer, venous insufficiency and trauma.

Sessions include manual lymph drainage and compression bandaging. Therapists instruct patients in exercises and self-management techniques as well as educate about Lymphedema.

Appointments typically last 60-90 minutes. Total therapy duration typically lasts two to four weeks, five days a week.
