Pediatric Therapy

  • To have my son work with a therapist trained to work with children
  • To know my daughter’s exercises and treatments are customized by her therapist and medical specialists – and by me
  • To see my son get the attention and personalized care that will improve the rest of his life

Physical, occupational and speech therapy play an important role for children in their achievement of age-appropriate physical, sensory-motor and cognitive development skills. Our pediatric program treats patients from birth through adolescence.

Physical and Occupational Therapy

  • Fun and interactive sessions that help assess and develop a child’s ability to perform age-appropriate skills
  • Treatments focused on improving strength, endurance, range of motion, posture, balance and coordination, fine motor skills, visual perception and visual motor skills
  • Therapists  who help adjust home and classroom environments, recommend adaptive equipment and provide home activities

Speech Therapy

  • Speech evaluation followed by customized therapy sessions to develop speech and communication skills
  • Techniques include basic articulation, language, voice and fluency therapy as well as more specialized areas such as PECS, PROMPT and augmentative communication device fitting and training
